Touristic routes in the National Park Cheile Bicazului – Hasmas

trasee-cheile-bicazului-neamtFor the tourists that love mountain hiking, the National Park Cheile Bicazului – Hasmas offers 18 touristic routes opened to the public that are well organized and safe:

Route 1
Pasul Pangarati (1255) – saua “Loduj” (1325) – Vf. Medias (1445) – Poiana Vf. Calului (1500) – Poiana Ciofronca (1550) – La Tunzerie (1435) – the touristic intersection from Poiana Alba (1460) – Poiana Alba (1500) – Curmatura (1650) – Saua Curmatura (1465) – The Cabin Piatra Singuratica (1504) – Curmatura Ecem (1628) – The Peak Ecem (1690) – Saua Lic (1525) – The Peak Tarcau (1418) – Saua Tarcaului (1297)

The time: 8 hours.
The distance: 22 km.
The level difference: 435 m, during the winter this is a difficult route and it is recommended to be traveled in two stages.

Route 2
The center of the resort Lacu Rosu (967 m) – Balconul de Piatra (1007 m) – Drumul lui Márton Ferenc – Pastravarie (993 m) – Debarcader (983 m) – The center of the resort Lacul Rosu (967 m) (circular route)

The time: 1 hour.
The distance: 3,5 km.
The level difference: 40 m, an easy walk.

Route 3
The center of the resort Lacu Rosu (967 m) – The Bucur Mantion (990 m) – The Cabin Suhard (1091 m) – Saua Suhard (1202) – The Peak Suhardul Mic 1345 m

The distance: 3 km.
The level difference: 378 m, accessible all year long

Route 4
The center of the resort Lacu Rosu (967 m) – Cheile Bicazului – Cheile Bicazului Mic – the road of Surducului – saua Piatra Rosie (1011 m) – Lacul Rosu (967 m) (circular route)

The time: 3-4 hours.
The distance: 10 km.
The level difference: 44 m, accessible all year long – in a rainy day it can be a problem the area called Bicazul Mic

Route 5
The starting point of river Cupas (944 m) – The Valley Cupas – The starting point of river Cupasul Mic (962 m) – The road Laposului (1435 m)

The distance: 7 km.
The level difference: 491 m, accessible on foot all year long; you can also go by car except the winter

Route 6
The starting point of river Cupas (944 m) – the base of Cupasului (1080 m) – Cheile Bicazului (km 29) (850 m)

The time: 1 hour.
The distance: 3 km.
The level difference: 136 m, easy walk

Route 7
The center of the resort Lacu Rosu (967 m) – Saua Piatra Rosie (1011 m) – The road of  Vararilor – Saua Tifrei (1002 m) – Cheile Bicazului (850 m)

The distance: 3,5 km.
The level difference: 44 m, easy walk

Route 8
Lacu Rosu (jetty) (983 m) – Poiana lui Paleu (1242 m) – Fagul Roşu (1390 m) – Poiana “Száraz-tók” (1530 m) – The Peak Piatra Cherecului (1580 m) – Poiana Alba (1460 m)

The distance: 10 km.
The level difference: 597 m, very difficult during the winter

Route 9
The center of the resort Lacu Rosu (967 m) – Valea Oii – The starting point of river Hasmas (1130 m) – Piatra Potcoavei (1450 m) – the intersection of touristic routes from Poiana Alba (1460 m)

The level difference: 493 m, accessible all year long

Route 10
The center of the resort Lacu Rosu (967 m) – Balconul de Piatra (1007 m) – Valea paraului Suhard – Piatra Licos (1675 m) – The Cave Licos (1650 m)

The level difference: 708 m, very difficult during the winter

Route 11
The center of the resort Lacu Rosu (967 m) – saua Piatra Rosie – Poiana Ghilcos – Belvedere Piatra Ghilcos (1378 m)

Route 12
The Valley of the river Oii (1012 m) – Poiana lui Paleu (1242 m) – Poiana Jgheabului – The Valley of the river Jgheabul Cherecului – catunul Bicajel (885 m)

Route 13
Lacul Rosu (jetty) (983 m) – Poiana Ghilcos (1210 m) – Piatra Ghilcos (Belvedere) (1378 m)
