Winter Holydays at Piatra Neamt

28 December 2009 No Comment

piatra-neamt-craciun-2009Every year, on December the 1st, on our National Day, we start the winter holydays lights in the town Piatra Neamt. The spectacle of lights goes on together with concerts and traditions so that the town offers to all its visitors a glimpse of what Romania means. The Tineretului Park became a park of light and of Christmas stories where kids can enjoy a fairytale atmosphere.

The whole winter is under the sign of holyday parties and here at Piatra Neamt the traditions and customs that we inherit for generations give you a special feeling: it’s like witnessing the past present and future united by traditions. The Christmas carols speak about the birth of Jesus and bring good wishes to those that hear it. Besides the concerts, food and traditions Christmas is a religion celebration and the local from the Neamt pray these days in the monasteries from all over the county.

The ices skating complex from “Peste Vale” and the ski slope from Cozla are two main attraction points for locals and visitors. We already saw the first tourists trying the ski slope and we know that those that love ice skating will not let us down also.

We invite you to come to Piatra Neamt, to feel the Christmas holyday and to experience it in a pure traditional way.
