The second edition of “Piatra pe Zapada” Festival from Piatra Neamt will take place between February 4 and 5, 2011. The official opening of the festival will be Friday, February 4th at 11:00 at the base of the ski slope from Cozla. The hosts from this year will be Razvan and Dani.

During this festival there will be contests like: sledging, skiing, throwing snowballs, snowboarding, snow football, hokey with the broomstick, karaoke and a DJ contest. All these contests will be organized based on the age of the participants. You can enroll for any contest right on the ski slope.

Although the weather it’s not that generous with the snow, the organizers of the festival ensure us that they’ll start all the snow canons so that will be plenty of snow on the ski slope. To reach the ski slope you can use Telegondola (near the train station from Piatra Neamt). The organizers will offer discounts for using Telegondola and the chairlift.

The snow fun will also be animated by musical fireworks and a descent with torches. Saturday night you’ll have the chance of listening to Provincialii band who will create a pleasant atmosphere with their music.
