Retrospective exhibition of the artist Dimitrie Loghin in Piatra Neamt

06-expozitie-retrospectiva-dimitrie-loghinBetween November 7 2013 and January 7 2014 takes place the retrospective exhibition of Dimitrie Loghin at the History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt. The exhibition is called “Colors of the old Suceava” and was presented by professor Petru Bejan from A. I. Cuza University from Iasi. The paintings presented in the exhibition are panoramic sights of Suceava and express the appetite of the painter for architecture.

Dimitrie Loghin (13.10.1910 – 18.07.1982) studied at “Scoala Normala” School from Falticeni and the Academy for Beautiful Arts from Iasi. In his career he had 13 personal exhibitions between 1936 and 1980 and 37 participations in group exhibitions between 1936 and 1981. Between 1935 and 1979 he also wrote poetry. He mostly painted landscapes of Bucovina.

The organizers of the event are the Museum Complex from Piatra Neamt, the Artists Union from Neamt and Suceava counties.
