At “Lascar Vorel” Gallery from Piatra Neamt, starting with April 10 2014 will take place the cultural event “Lucian Strochi his friends from Roman and their guests”. The event is organized by the Union of Artists from Neamt County, The Museum Complex from Neamt County, The Cultural Society “Clepsidra” and “Papirus Media” Publisher from Roman.

The event will contain exhibition of painting, graphics, tapestry and old post cards. During this exhibition the audience will have the chance to see works signed by artists like Iosif Haidu, Cristinel-Ionel Prisacaru, Veronica Calin, the priest Cornel Paiu and the collector Dan Dumitriu. There will also be a book launch by doctor Dan Gabriel Arvatescu.

Lucian Strochi was born on July 23 1950 in Petrosani and he is a poet, a writer and literal critic. His debut takes place in 1969 with a poetry volume. Over time he collaborated with magazines like “Luceafarul”, “Romania literara”, “Tribuna”, “Convorbiri literare”, “Cronica”, “Amfiteatru” and “Astra”. He is the author of over 30 volumes of writings, poetry and theater.
