The Natural Park Vanatori Neamt

Location: the Natural Park Vanatori Neamt is located in the north-eats of Romania, in the east side of the Mountains Stanisoarei and the Neamt Sub-Carpathians, in the north part of the Neamt County. The park stretches over few villages, like Cracaoani, Agapia, Vanatori Neamt, the city Tg. Neamt and the resorts Baltatesti and Oglinzi.

“Padurea de argint” – The Silver Forest – Neamt County

Location: “Padurea de argint” (The Natural Reservation “The Silver Forest”) is located the village Agapia, at an altitude of 540 m in the lower part of the brook Topolitei
Short description
The Silver Forest is a mixed reservation which related to forestry and landscape. The area is approximately 2,4 ha and is formed by a type of birch. Most of the forest it’s made out of old trees, over 100 years.

The Aurochs Reservations and Carpathian Fauna Dragos Voda – Neamt County

Location: village. Vanatori, Neamt County
The Aurochs Reservation and Carpathian Fauna Dragos Voda is one of the 4 such reservations from Romania and it’s also one of the biggest from Europe dedicated specially to aurochs. Located in the north of the Neamt County, in the village Vanatori-Neamt it represents one of the most visited points in the county.
The reservation was founded in 1968 and it lies on an area of approximately 11,500 ha – this is one of the four main protected areas in the National Park Vanatori-Neamt.
