If you climb the mountain Ceahlau on the route bookmarked with a red line that starts at the Izvorul Muntelui Chalet – Poiana Maicilor – Claile lui Miron – Ocolasul Mic and goes up to the Dochia Chalet you’ll encounter two rock formations that are known as “Claile lui Miron”. Although it represents a touristic attraction for those that climb the mountain, there are few that know the local legend of these stones.

The Durau resort is located at an altitude of 800 m, at the foot of the Mountain Ceahlau and in terms of skiing and sleighing is the ideal place for beginners or advanced practitioner of these winter sports.
