Neamț Fortress Days – Pax inter Urbes, June 29-30, 2024

A new edition of the “Neamț Fortress Days – Pax inter Urbes” Festival is coming up!
On June 29 and 30, 2024, locals and tourists are invited to the fortress’ base in Târgu-Neamț for another hot edition featuring cannon salutes, the sound of trumpets and drums, knight camps, weapon and armor exhibitions, delicious traditional dishes, fire shows, and impressive historical reenactments recalling significant battles documented in history and literature.

Weekend of traditions and folk art in Piatra-Neamț

The 18th edition, May 24-26, 2024, Youth Park, Piatra-Neamț
A new edition of the traditional fair is approaching, with book launches, the joy of reuniting with old acquaintances, and craftsmen visiting our city for the first time.
This year, almost 60 guests from various ethnographic areas of the country and from the Republic of Moldova will participate, representing the main domains of folk art: pottery, wood processing, metalworking, domestic industry, leatherwork, mask making, jewelry making, icon making, weaving in various materials, eggs decorating, and soap making.

As the host of two national Olympiads, the Visual Arts, Architecture, and Art History Olympiad, and the Religion – Orthodox Cult Olympiad for grades IX-XII, Neamț County was visited and discovered this month and in April by over 850 students, teachers, and members of the national evaluation committees. “Days of Neamţ Fortress” Festival – a successful 21st edition with strong echoes in the national media

The Medieval Festival that celebrates Neamț Fortress and the local history reached its 21st edition this year and delighted both tourists and locals eager to take part in such outdoor events, after two years of restrictions due to the pandemic.
