Tourist routes in Vanatori-Neamt Nature Park

The park offers numerous attraction points starting with natural wonders and up to cultural and historic attractions. Vanatori-Neamt Nature Park is located in Neamt County in the communes Cracaoani, Agapia, Vanatori-Neamt, Targu Neamt town and Baltatesti resort and Oglinzi resort.

For those that love hiking they can enjoy one of the 8 touristic routes from the park that will take the tourist through some of the most interesting cultural and historic attractions from Neamt County:

1.  Route from Baltatesti to Dealul Ciungi Hill
2.  Route from Sihla Hermitage to Varatec Monastery
3.  Route from Sihla Hermitage to Sihastria Monastery
4.  Route from Agapia Veche Hermitage to Sihastria Monastery
5.  Route from Secu Monastery to Agapia Veche Hermitage
6.  Route from Neamt Monastery to Procov Hermitage and Leghin
7.  Route from Neamt Fortress to Oglinzi Resort
8.  Route from Neamt Fortress to “Monumentul Vanatorilor de Munte” Monument

The most important attraction from Vanatori-Neamt Nature Park is Neamt Fortress which is a true medieval stronghold of great cultural and historical value.

In Vanatori-Neamt Park you can also see some interesting forest reserves like: “Codrii de Arama” Forest (The Copper Forests) or “Padurea de Argint” Forest (The Silver Forest). “Dragos Voda” Bisons and Carpathian Fauna  Reserve is another tourist attraction from Vanatori-Neamt Nature Park.

Some of the oldest monasteries from Neamt County can be seen in Vanatori-Neamt Nature Park. We’re talking about monasteries like Neamt, Sihastria, Secu, Sihla, Agapia or Varatec. The park also has a great potential in what concerns the mineral waters that are used with success in Baltatesti Resort and Oglinzi Resort.
