Sunday, November 27 starting with 14:00 will take place at the Gallery of the Folkloric Art School from Mihail Kogalniceanu Plaza the opening of the anniversary exhibition of painter Arcadie Raileanu. The exhibition is organized by “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center and summons different art works of the painter, starting with oil paintings and ending up with graphics created over the years.

Arcadie Raileanu is an artist from Moldavian Republic that paints for over a decade in Piatra Neamt. From 2006 he is the coordinator of the Folkloric Art School where many children started their artistic careers.

He studied the Plastic Art School “A.V. Sciusev” from Chisinau. Then he graduated the Architecture Faculty of the Technical Institute from Chisinau and also studied art the Ermitaj Museum. In 1987 he becomes a member of the Plastic Artists Union of Moldavia Republic and starting with 2004 a member of the Union of Artists from Romania.

In his entire career he received many awards like the first prize at the painting section at “Lascar Vore” Art Exhibition from Piatra Neamt 1999.
