Between February 17 and 19, 2012 on Cozla Ski Slope from Piatra Neamt will take place the third edition of “Piatra pe Zapada” Festival. At the Ski and Snowboard Cup will participate both amateurs and professionals. There are also competitions for children. This is the most important winter event from the region that wants to promote these kinds of sports.

The contests include a giant ski slalom and a parallel snowboard slalom. The categories are: Mini (4 – 7 years), First Category (8 – 12 years), Second Category (13 – 17 years), Third Category (18 – 23 years), Fourth Category (24 – 39 years) and the Fifth Category (+40). The first five competitors from each category will receive awards. The prices represent ski-pass for a day for the second and third places and ski-pass for two days for the winner.

Sunday, February 19 starting with 10:00 at the base of the slope will take place winter games and a costume ball. This last day is also called the day of winter games and will include: skiing with an egg on a spoon and other fun moments.

The participants to the costume ball will take a photo that will be posted on the Facebook page of the event: the photo with the most likes until February 22 16:00, will receive a two days ski-pass.
