Tuesday, January 17 2012, starting with 17:30 at “Lascar Vorel” Gallery will take place the opening of the art exhibition of Petru Diaconu. The exhibition will be open for the public until the end of January and sums some of the best works of the painter.

Petru Diaconu has a beautiful artistic evolution over time because of his dedication and passion for art in general and painting in particular and by developing a unique and personal style. The exhibition is called “Between sky and earth” and reunites some of the most known paintings of Petru Diaconu but also some new works.

He was born in March 24, 1949 in Dobreni commune and started his painting career in Iasi. Starting with 1978 he opens few exhibitions in several places from Mamaia. His paintings are created using techniques related to mural painting. In 1986 he opens an exhibition in Iasi and from 1989 he collaborates with Flacara Magazine from Bucharest.

The painter Petru Diaconu returned to Piatra Neamt in 2004 and from then he organizes regular exhibitions with his works.
