Between March 16 and 17 will take place in Piatra Neamt the XXI edition of the National Piano Contest “Carl Czerny”, organized by Neamt County School Inspectorate, together with “Victor Brauner” Art High School and with the support of Piatra Neamt Town Hall. At the contest can enroll children that study piano in the musical schools from Romania.

The opening festivity will take place on Friday, March 16 from 09:30 in the room “Theodor Macarie” of “Victor Brauner” Art High School. The second stage of the contest will begin Saturday, March 17, from 09:00 and from 18:00 there will be an Award Winning Ceremony.

At the edition from this year enrolled 50 participants from Bacau, Barlad, Botosani, Brasov, Bucharest, Calarasi, Chisanau, Galati, Iasi, Sighetul Marmatiei, Suceava, Vaslui and Neamt. The contest is structured in two stages: the first is an eliminatory one. Just like in the previous editions the importance will be on the technical skills of each contestant.

The jury will be formed by Verona Maier (from the National Musical University from Bucharest), Corina Ibanescu (from “Transilvania” University of Brasov) and Mihaela Spiridon (from the Musical Academy “Gheorghe Dima” of Cluj Napoca).

The organizers of the National Piano Contest “Carl Czerny” invite you to participate together with them at this event and to meet some of young talents from our county and the entire Romania.
