06-pastel-toamna-cheile-bicazului-oct-2013The smell of autumn is all around us and is like an invitation to spend few days in nature, away from the stress of the cities. Bicaz Gorges represents one of the most well known touristic attractions from Neamt County. It has a length of 8 km starting up of “Lacul Rosu” Lake and going until Bicazu Ardelean village.

This world of massive stone walls is part of Cheile Bicazului – Hasmas National Park that has three protected areas: “Lacul Rosu” Lake, Bicaz Gorges and Hasmasul Mare. The road that goes through Bicaz Gorges is twisted and offers some impressive panoramas. The limestone walls are full of rich and colorful vegetation that during autumn has some of the most spectacular colors. Everything is yellow, orange and red and nature puts on its best and final show before winter.

We invite you to enjoy these last days of autumn before the cold of the winter. A walk through these forests, the colors of autumn, the smell of pine trees create a good vibe and offer you a chance to lose some stress.
