Neamţ County occupies a privileged place in Romania in terms of unique touristic sights and the beauty of the natural environment from its many protected areas. A hearth of authentic spiritual values, Neamţ County is full of attractions: from ancient historical monuments, monasteries and cathedrals, numerous museums and memorial houses, all of them hiding collections of great architectural, artistic and ethnographic value. Neamţ County is a land where memorable pages in the national history were written, throughout time. Also here, artefacts of Cucuteni Culture, developed between 3600-2600 BC, unique all over Europe, were found.

Coming to Neamţ, you will have the pleasure of discovering the surprising folk art and the gastronomy widely recognized by both national and international visitors, as well as the charming  winter customs and traditions, which you can witness passing by the many traditional villages built on old settlements, dating back from thousands years ago.

You are all welcome to visit Neamţ County, an emblematic land, where you can climb Ceahlău Massif, the holy mountain of the Romanians and the “Olympus of Moldavia”, roam free with the bisons at “The Bison Land” – wordly known sustainable destination, as well as practice adventure tourism, or just visit the old monastic settlements, scattered down the valleys and along the roads or clustered in flat areas in Neamț, inside the walls of which the monastic life full of significance is waiting pilgrims everywhere to reveal its mysteries.

So, give yourself permission to spend a dream holiday in a land full of meanings, where each place has a story of its own! Neamţ County is the most common Romanian land in pages of literature, no other historical region in Roamnia having exerted such inspiration as fascination as Neamţ County has, throughout time.
