art-exhibition-roman-2010Starting with December 5, 2010 the Art Museum from Roman hosts an Exhibition of paintings, sculptures and graphics presented by Professor Gheorghe A. M. Ciobanu. This is the VI edition of this traditional event and it’s also one of the most important moments for the artistic world of Roman. The purpose of this event is to promote the work of artists from Roman.

The exhibition is addressed to all art lovers. This year’s edition brings few new features: there are 23 new artists, among which 8 are members of UAP (UAP stands for The Artists Union) Iasi, Brasov, Bacau, Constanta and Neamt; there is a new logo “Arta pentru suflet, suflet pentru arta” – “Art for soul, soul for art”; there is also a catalog of the exhibition made by the artists where you can see all the works exhibited.

Each artist can submit a maximum of 5 works made this year. One of the surprises is a sculpting of Sergiu Celibidache made by the sculptor Mircea Florin Zaharescu. In total there are 74 works of art exhibited in the Art Museum from Roman: paintings, sculptures and graphics. The themes represent flowers, sceneries and portraits. Here are some of the artists: Monica D. Carp, Viorica Vasilisin, Florin Zaharescu, Cristian Prisecaru, Elena Antochi, Ovidiu Carpusor, Razvan Adrian Gusul, Geza Covaks, Florin Mares, Constantin Adamovici, Iulian Sebastian Negru, Magdalena Avadanei, Cornel Paiu, Violeta Lacatusu, Mihai Perca, Raluca Popescu Olaru, Heliana Adalgiza Rotariu, Valerian Caldaru, Doina Colescu, Sabin Francisc Pal, Viorel Maxim and Petru Viorel Andreescu.
