Between November 17 and 20, 2011 will take place the History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt the exhibition “Mineralia Piatra Neamt” where visitors can admire minerals, fossils, natural gemstones and jewelry. The exhibition has a cultural and educational purpose and offers the chance for kids and grownups to take a look at the less known world of minerals.

The stones come from all over the world: quartz from Brazil, red quartz from Madagascar, jade from China and Canada, turquoise from North America, mine flowers from Romania, opal from Australia, malachite from Congo and diamonds from India.

Visitors can admire a great variety of products – crystals, mineral collections, polished minerals and stone ornaments. The jewels are made in Romania and use semi-precious and precious stones. The visitors can also buy books and encyclopedias about minerals and crystals.

The exhibition is organized by collectors and passionate people and it’s open from 09:00 to 19:00.
