Saturday November 19 2011 took place the award gala of the local artisans from Neamt County. The event is organized by “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and art Center in collaboration with Neamt County Council, Piatra Neamt Town Hall, The Local Artisans Association from Moldova, The Local Artisans Association from Bucovina, The Local Artisans from Neamt County and Neamt County Chamber of Industry.

At the edition from this year “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center in collaboration with The Local Artisans Association from Moldavia awarded 3 prizes. The trophy for the entire activity was awarded to the artisan Ion Albu from Timisesti that creates traditional masks. The trophy “Young Hope” was awarded to Lorena Ciocoiu at the age of 7 years from Vorona, Botosani. The trophy “The Artisan of the Year 2011” was awarded to Iulian Mihalachi from Valea Seaca, Balatesti, Neamt County.

Other artisans that exhibited their works at this event were: Eusebiu Iacinschi  from Botosani County and Petru Maxim from Dorohoi, Botosani – ceramics, Marian Lungu from Sanduleni, Bacau County – traditional clothing, Niculina Andronache and Andreea-Petronela Rusu from Vorona, Botosani County – fabrics and masks, Nucu Benta from Falticeni, Suceava County, Valentina Acasandrei  from Iasi and Cecilia Haisan from Piatra-Neamt – icons, Ana Grunzu  from Tomesti, Iasi County.
