Tuesday, December 14, 2011 starting with 17:00 will take place in the Festivity Room of Neamt County Council a symphonic rock concert. The concert will mix the symphonic music with rock notes and will be performed by “Mihail Jora” Philharmonic from Bacau and “George Apostu” National Art College from Bacau coir.

The songs that will be performed belong to some great bands like Rolling Stones, Blues Brothers, Queen, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin or Beatles. The program of the concert from Piatra Neamt will include melodies like Michelle, Yellow Submarine (Beatles), Satisfaction (Rolling Stones), Everybody Needs Somebody to Love, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, Let it Be, All You Need Is Love, A Hard Day’s Night, Hey Jude, Yesterday, Peter Gunn Theme, Gimme Some Lovin’ (Blues Brothers), Smoke on the Water (Deep Purple), Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin), Flash, Bicycle Race, Killer Queen, Love of My Life, Friends Will Be Friends, A Kind of Magic, Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions  (Queen).

Horst-Hans Backer directed many orchestras from Europe like the ones in Denmark, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Hungary and South America. In Romania he was invited to direct e orchestras from Cluj, Arad, Timisoara and Bacau. His career began at the age of 8. At the beginning of the 70s he established himself in Germany and from 1990 he became the director of the musical school of Langenhagen and director of Kammerorchester Langenhagen.
