“Sarbatoare pe Ceahlau” Festival – August 8 2010

Sunday, August 8 2010 in Ceahlau commune will take place the first edition of “Sarbatoare pe Ceahlau” Festival (“Sarbatoare pe Ceahlau” can be translated as “Celebration on Ceahlau Mountain”). This festival, which is organized at the same time as Ceahlau Mountain Day, is meant to promote traditional cultural values and cultural tourism in Neamt County.
“Sarbatoare pe ceahlau” Festival will begin at 13:00 with a folk dance show. At this festival will participate 11 folk bands from Neamt and Suceava counties, with over 200 participants that will be wearing traditional Romanian …

Piatra Neamt, one of the latest mountain resorts of Romania, is the ideal place to spend the summer holiday because of the fresh air of the mountains. Tare ca Piatra Festival from Piatra Neamt, July 16 – July 18 2010 was a true spectacle of courage and mastery of those passionate about skateboarding and downhill. The entire festival was organized on two locations: Tineretului Swimming-pool for skateboarding and Cozla hill for the downhill event. The downhill event was a new challenge this year.
The organizers worked hard to create the downhill track from Cozla hill and the contestants came prepared with professional downhill bikes and equipment. You can also check the program of Tare ca Piatra Festival.

July 16-18 2010 the Festival „Tare ca Piatra” from Piatra Neamt

The idea for this festival, “Tare ca Piatra”(“Strong as a Rock”) began 5 years ago and ever since is organized each year by a group of enthusiast of skating from Piatra Neamt. Starting with 2010 there is a new event: downhill. This event was introduced to maximize the potential of Piatra Neamt.
The participation from this year is impressive: over 100 contestants from counties like Neamt, Brasov, Cluj and Iasi. The skate event will start Saturday, July 17 2010 at Tineretului Swimmin-pool from Piatra Neamt.

The International Festival “Vacante Muzicale la Piatra Neamt” July 2 – July 4, 2010

The International Festival “Vacante Muzicale la Piatra Neamt” (“Musical Holidays in Piatra Neamt”) started Friday July 2, 2010 at 21:00 in Piatra Neamt with a show by the orchestra “Mihail Jora” from Bacau that interpreted “Famous Opera Pages”.
