The Town Hall of Piatra Neamt participated between March 30 and April 1st at the V edition of the Touristic Fair from Brasov “Transylvania Tourism Fair”. This event is part of the ANAT calendar for 2012. The local authorities of Piatra Neamt want to present the entertainment facilities of the town as well as the outdoor possibilities for spending the time.

At the History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt there is a painting, graphics and sculpture exhibition that was brought here from “Brancusi” Room in the Parliament’s Palace. The exhibition opens the door to a new universe, where the eye steps into a special world, into an imaginary Romanian museum.

For 2 months, the Natural Science Museum of Roman will host a temporary exhibition entitled “Aripi si Petale” (“Wings and Petals”). The exhibition was created together with specialists from the Natural Science Museum of Ploiesti and represents a unique combination of butterflies and floral rarities. Visitors will have the chance to admire the beauty and diversity of exotic butterflies and fossilized plants.

Thursday, on March 22, 2012 was the first day of freedom for 5 bisons in Chitele area from Cracaoani commune. The event was organized by “Dragos Voda” Bisons and Carpathian Fauna Reserve during a unique project in Romania that has as primary objective to improve the conservation of the bisons in Vanatori-Neamt Nature Park from Neamt County. The project is financed by the European Fund for Regional Development.
