The new theatrical season (2011 – 2012) from Tineretului Theater from Piatra Neamt will start with two successful comedies “Ras nervos” (“Nervous laugh”) and “Eu te iubesc, eu te omor!” (“I love you and I’ll kill you!”). The two plays will be performed on the days of Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, 2011 at the room from “Petru Rares” National College starting with 19:00.

This last weekend in Piatra Neamt took placed the first edition of the competition “Hard Enduro Straight from the City”. The town near Pietricica Hill was the perfect host for two days for forged engines and 80 contestants from all over Romania and France.

Between September 16 and 18, 2011 in Piatra Neamt will take place the first edition of the Hard Enduro Competition. At this first edition will be three classes: Experts, Hobby and Girls. The already established route has a length on 60 – 70 km and it’s entirely marked and prepared for the race.
Piatra Neamt offers to participants the perfect conditions for Enduro because of the natural location. The base camp for the entire competition will be located in Tineretului Swimming Pool from “Peste Vale” Entertainment Complex.

Between September 2 and 4, 2011 will take place a new edition of the film festival “Filmul de Piatra” that will present videos, movies and concerts. Between August 19 and 25, 2011 at Neamt Fortress from Targu Neamt will take place the first edition of the National Lute Festival, a project that wants to promote the lute, an instrument less popular in Romania. The event will gather artists from Iasi, Timisoara, Hunedoara, Carei or Bucharest and other related instruments like Celtic harp or virginal.
The purpose of this festival is to promote this medieval instrument and to send a signal to the teaching schools to introduce the lute in their daily classes. The festival will take place …
