Saturday, July 23 2011 starting with 10:00 was the opening of the VI edition of “Tare ca Piatra” Festival. This year edition had the usual two contests: skate and downhill. The downhill course is located on Cozla Mountain and the skate event took place in the skate park from Tineretului Swimming Pool Complex.

Between July 23 and 24 2011 in Piatra Neamt will take place the Festival “Tare ca Piatra 6” (a direct translation of the name of the festival would be Hard as Rock). This is the only national festival of extreme sports from the north – east side of Romania. Riders and skaters from all over the country are expected to come and perform their best skating tricks or participate in the downhill event.
