Saturday, August 6 2011, pilgrims from all over the country are expected to come on Ceahlau Mountain to participate at the religious service that will be held at the monastery from the top of the mountain. According to tradition at the religious service will participate high priests of the Romanian Orthodox Church.

Between July 30 and 31 2011 will take place in Razboieni commune the biggest and oldest manifestation from Valea Alba region called “Sarbatoarea Razboienilor” (The Celebration of Razboieni). This holiday is related to the monument from the communal park built by the officers of the Regiment “15 Razboieni” in memory of soldiers fallen in the great battle from Valea Alba during the time of ruler Stefan cel Mare.

Each year on the first Sunday from August, Ceahlau commune prepares for celebration. Sunday, August 7, 2011 starting with 12:00 will take place in Ceahlau commune the second edition of the festival “Sarbatoare pe Ceahlau” (“Celebration on Ceahlau Mountain”) dedicated to folkloric bands from the rural environment.

Between August 11 and 14, 2011 at the Equestrian Complex “Virgil Barbuceanu” from Piatra Neamt will take place the last equestrian competition from this year: the National Championship for Seniors, a stage from Grand Prix, “Virgil Barbuceanu” Trophy and “TCE 3 Brazi” Cup.

Saturday, July 23 2011 starting with 10:00 was the opening of the VI edition of “Tare ca Piatra” Festival. This year edition had the usual two contests: skate and downhill. The downhill course is located on Cozla Mountain and the skate event took place in the skate park from Tineretului Swimming Pool Complex.
