On June 1 2012 was the official opening of the Touristic Complex “Peste Vale”. With this occasion took place a series of shows and fun activities for children. This year, at “Lada cu Zestre” Festival participated over 70 artisans from Romania and Moldova Republic and for three days they offered to all those that love traditions and traditional art the chance to see traditional handmade objects. The organizers of the event were Neamt County Council, The Local Town Hall from Piatra Neamt, Neamt County Museum Complex, the Local Artisans Association from Moldova and the Local Artisans Association from Neamt County.

This spring, at “Dragos Voda” Bisons and Carpathian Fauna Reserve from “Vanatori-Neamt” Nature Park in Neamt County two bison calves were born. With these two, the total number of the bisons from the nature reserve reached 21 specimens, plus 6 specimens from the Zoo of the park. Visitors can admire these amazing animals at the Zoo, together with other species like deers, foxes, baggers, rabbits, wolfs and bears.

Wednesday, June 20 2012 the pianist Horia Mihail will arrive at the Culture’s House in Roman with his national tour “Pianul calator” (The traveling piano). This is the second national tour of the musician and it’s scheduled between May 21 and June 30 2012. The program of the concert will include Mozart, Bach, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Schubert and Bartok.

Between June 1 and 15 2012 at “Lascar Vorel” Art Galleries from Piatra Neamt took place a painting exhibition of the artist Dumitru Bezem. The opening of the exhibition took place Friday, June 1 at 16:00. The exhibition contained 60 new art works created by the painter in the last 5 months. The paintings express winter images from Neamt County area, together with portraits of monks and images of churches.
