Between March 1 and 15 2012 at the art galleries Lascar Vorel from Piatra Neamt will be the exhibition “Atuportret” (“Self-portrait”) of the painter Stefan Potop. The opening of the exhibition will take place on March 1st at 17:00 by the writer and art critic Lucian Strochi.

Between March 02 and 03, 2012 will take place in Piatra Neamt the 24 edition of the Festival “Florile Ceahlaului” – a national contest of folkloric music for children and youth. The participants will have ages between 8 and 25. There will be two selection stages one in the county and another at national level. The wood church from Galu is located inside the cemetery of the village and has as its holly patron St Gheorghe. From an inscription above the entrance door we find that the church was built in 1918 but the Holy Gospel was a gift to the church in November 8, 1780.
