The town of Piatra Neamt has prepared, like in every year to welcome the Easter Holiday with specific traditional objects. The Royal Court of “Stefan cel Mare” together with Tineretului Park were decorated with bunnies and huge eggs that light the night like fireflies in a fairytale. The first stage of the National Championship of Off Road 2014 will take place between May 1 and 4 in Neamt County, near Piatra Neamt. The organizers of this event are Kamikaze Off Road Team, Off Road Club from Piatra Neamt and Zen World Extreme.
The competition is both for beginners with 4×4 vehicles without structural modifications and for professionals with vehicles 4×4 specially modified for extreme off road. The costs for entering the competition are 450RON the sportive tax, 850RON all inclusive tax and 550RON technical assistance and attendant.

At “Lascar Vorel” Art Galleries from Piatra Neamt will take place the exhibition of the art graduate Bogdan Anitulesei. The exhibition is called “Eu, ochiul” (“I, the eye”). The opening of the exhibition will take place Friday, April 18 2014 at 17:00. The works of the artist will be presented by Stefan Potop, the president of the Union of Artists from Neamt County and the art critique Lucian Strochi.

The Natural Science Museum from Piatra Neamt contains a presentation of Neamt County from a geological, floristic, fauna and ecological point. The exhibition of the museum has over 40.000 pieces from the collections of fauna and over 10.000 files of floristic specimens. The museum also has an impressive collection of stuffed birds present in the area of Neamt County.
The visitors can admire some rare birds that are protected by law. These birds are present in Ceahlau National Park or in Sugau Gorge.
