The lakes are located in natural areas of exquisite beauty. From the shores of Bâtca Doamnei lake you can admire the panorama of Piatra Neamţ City, from the one side, and also you can see the magnificent Ceahlău Mountain in all its splendor, from the other side. Vaduri and Pangaraţi lakes, situated one close to the other, also offer captivating panoramas, due to their location between Stânișoarei Mountains on the northern side and Goșman Mountains on the southern side.

All the above mentioned lakes were declared ornithological and faunal protected areas and represent an important link in preserving biodiversity and natural habitats for the entire eastern area of the European continent.
