The idea for this festival, “Tare ca Piatra”(“Strong as a Rock”) began 5 years ago and ever since is organized each year by a group of enthusiast of skating from Piatra Neamt. Starting with 2010 there is a new event: downhill. This event was introduced to maximize the potential of Piatra Neamt.

The participation from this year is impressive: over 100 contestants from counties like Neamt, Brasov, Cluj and Iasi. The skate event will start Saturday, July 17 2010 at Tineretului Swimmin-pool from Piatra Neamt.

There will also be a demonstration event that will take place Saturday July 17 in Piatra Neamt at “Turnul lui Stefan cel Mare” Plaza between 16:00 and 18:00. The party from Saturday evening will gather Funk/Drum&Base bands. We invite anyone who wants to prove that he really is “hard as a rock”. Come and support this event from July 16 to July 17 in Piatra Neamt.
