Visiting Neamt County you’ll have the chance to admire many natural environments that were described over time in poetries and stories.

The national parks and the natural reservations are part of the beautiful natural environment from this place and are also the attractions with the highest number of visitors from the entire county. Tourists that come to Neamt County can visit Ceahlau National Park, Bicaz Gorge, Vanatori Natural Park and few protected lakes.

Ceahlau National Park has three protected reservations: “Ocolasul Mare”, “Polita cu Crini” and Duruitoarea Waterfall and the Big Aven. Bicaz Gorge National Park is the place where you can visit Sugasu Gorge, Lapos Gorge, Munticelu Cave, the Tunnel Cave and Bicajel Gorge.

Vanatori Natural Park is the place where you can visit Dragos Voda bison reservation and few of the most important monasteries from the area. There are three main lakes in Neamt County that are protected by the law: Batca Doamnei, Pangarati and Cuejdel Lake that is the biggest natural dam lake from Romania.
