Tourists that come to visit Neamt County will have the chance to see the interesting and beautiful traditions that are still kept alive until these days. A beautiful exhibition of such objects can be seen at the History and Ethnography Museum from Targu Neamt.

The museum is organized in the building where once was the Royal School and its exhibitions are targeted towards the new generations that can see such objects only in a place like this. In the six rooms of the museum were preserved many objects that are representative for the customs and traditions from these parts.

Tradition and ingenuity in Neamt County

The area of Targu Neamt is a place with a wealthy cultural and religious legacy. The court of the museum exhibits a barn where you can see some of the biggest and oldest traditional installations, the last from Neamt County area. Among these objects you’ll see a water mill, a water saw, a massive wine barrel and an old distillery.

The objects exhibited in the museum are living testimonials of the ingenuity of the people from this area.
