The most spectacular gorges of Romania, located in the eastern chain of the Romanian Carpathians, in the central area of the Hăşmaş Mountains, are a real stone entrance gate, among which the road that connects Transylvania with the legendary land of Moldavia winds.

This protected area offers an impressive natural show: vertical limestone cliffs, with heights of over 300 m, separated by a winding road dug into the rock by the waters of the Bicaz brook.
