Between January 06 and 09 2011 we invite you to Piatra Neamt to participate at the event called The Film festival “Filmul de Piatra”. This year’s competition is open to short films (fiction, animation, documentary, experiment, video clip) made by film creators from Romania and Moldavian Republic.

We invite everyone to Piatra Neamt on the night of New Year’s Eve to celebrate the beginning of the year 2011 with a great concert and a great fireworks show. Everywhere in the world this is a special moment when all the people leave all worries behind and hope for a better year together with family and friends. The Film Festival “Filmul de Piatra” will take place in Piatra Neamt between January 6 and 9, 2011. This is the second edition of this national and international film festival that promotes the cultural life of Piatra Neamt and the touristic potential as a resort fit for winter sports. The 42 edition of the Festival of Customs and Traditions “Steaua sus rasare” will take place in Piatra Neamt, Stefan cel Mare Plaza on Monday, December 27, 2010 starting with 13:00.
This festival is a folkloric event that over 40 years unites important folkloric bands. This year’s edition will feature 14 bands from the following counties: Neamt, Iasi, Suceava, Maramures, Bacau and Moldavian Republic.
