Between August 1 and 5 2012 will take place the third edition of the International Musical Contest “Liga Campionilor”. The event will take place at Tineretului Swimming Pool from Piatra Neamt under more stages. The purpose of this competition is to promote values and true musical voices.

Between July 21 and 22 2012 took placed in Piatra Neamt the VII edition of the Festival “Tare ca Piatra”, the only event of this kind dedicated to extreme sports from Moldavia region, Romania. This edition was organized by Ileana Foundation in partnership with the Sportive Association Shack, together with BURN and Radio Guerilla with the support of Piatra Neamt Town Hall.

Between July 21 and 22 2012 will take place in Piatra Neamt “Tare ca Piatra” Festival the VII edition. This event focuses on three competitions: Downhill, Skateboard and Streetball.
At the edition from this year the organizers introduced the Streetball event. Saturday evening there will be a party at Tineretului public pool from Piatra Neamt where will play Suie Paparude and Gojira and the show will be entertained by local artists like Umbra, Sideways, MCB and Keeble.

Thursday, July 5 2012 at 17:00 took placed at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt the opening of the painting exhibition of the artist Dumitru Bostan senior. Lucian Strochi and Emil Nicolae spoke about the work of the artist.
The painter Dumitru Bostan was born in 1935 in Sipote village, Bacau County and studied the art of painting at the Students Culture House with Professor Pantelimon Vedenivschi.
