Hermitage Monastery is situated in the northern part of the Neamtcounty, 22 km away from Targu Neamt town.Starting from here, we leave on the right the way to Neamt Monastery, we run through about 15 km, then  leave the main road, go over Ozana and penetrate the secu creek valley. On the way we first encounter Secu Monastery.The Valley becomes more narrow and lonely, and after 3 km of road, in all its splendor we discover Sihastria Monastery as an island of peace.

When we are already in Targu Neamt, to reach Petricani, we use DJ155 Targu Neamt – Petricani – Topolita, 7 km. From the center of Petricani, we swerve left to Târpeşti, and finally, after about 3 km we reach the craftsman Museum Nicolae Popa. Nicolae Popa was born on August 13th, 1919, in Târpeşti Village, Petricani Commune, Neamt County and died on October 20th, 2010, in his native village.  Former student of the priest Constantin Mătasă from the school of church musicians in the city of Piatra Neamț.

  The birth certificate of the current museum was signed on September 1st, 1960, when was founded the Natural Sciences Department, in the Museum of Archaeology of Piatra Neamt, in the property donated by Iulian Antonescu on Petru Rares Street, no.26.
But, on November 15th, 1969, after a hard work of gathering and classification of the collections, organizing the fund of pieces and exhibits, on the dioramas and bio-groups, takes place the opening to the great public of the permanent exhibition of the Natural Sciences Museum of Piatra Neamt.
