In Miron Costin village there is “Duminica tuturor Sfintilor” Church (The Sunday of All Saints Church) that was built during the time of ruler Stefan cel Mare. The church dates back from 1520 and was built on a stone foundation with 1.5 m thick walls, a length of 28 m, a width of 9 m and a height of 20 m. The Monastery “Schimbarea la fata” from the op of Ceahlau Mountain was built in 1993 through the contribution of believers that wanted a religious settlement on top of this holly mountain.
