Wednesday, December 21 2011, starting at 17:30 at Culture’s House from Piatra Neamt will take place the Christmas concert called “Lumina Lumii” (The Light of the World). The concert is organized by “Victor Brauner” Art High School from Piatra Neamt.

Friday, December 23 2011 starting with 10:00 will take place the 43 edition of the customs and traditions Festival “Steaua sus Rasare”. This festival became over the years a usual event in Piatra Neamt that takes place near the winter holidays.
For over 4 decades this festival unites the most important folkloric traditional groups. At the edition from this year will participate 16 bands from counties like Neamt, Iasi, Suceava, Botosani and Arges. Sunday, December 18 2011 will take place in Piatra Neamt at 13:00, in the festivities room from “Victor Brauner” Art High School, the show “Stelutele Craciunului” (Christmas’s Stars). With just a few days before Christmas Piatra Neamt was transformed in a fairytale land by the fallen snow. Snowflakes were coming down to earth and in just a few hours formed a thick white carpet that covered the streets, sidewalks and trees. Of course that this was the delight of children that started a snow fight everywhere they could.
