Vasile Neamut from Vanatori commune, Nemtisor village is one of the local artisans that create in his workshop from his house traditional art objects. He inherited the skill of wood carving from his father but he also worked as a carpenter when he was young.

The new theatrical season (2011 – 2012) from Tineretului Theater from Piatra Neamt will start with two successful comedies “Ras nervos” (“Nervous laugh”) and “Eu te iubesc, eu te omor!” (“I love you and I’ll kill you!”). This last weekend in Piatra Neamt took placed the first edition of the competition “Hard Enduro Straight from the City”. The town near Pietricica Hill was the perfect host for two days for forged engines and 80 contestants from all over Romania and France.

Between September 16 and 18, 2011 in Piatra Neamt will take place the first edition of the Hard Enduro Competition. At this first edition will be three classes: Experts, Hobby and Girls. The already established route has a length on 60 – 70 km and it’s entirely marked and prepared for the race.
Piatra Neamt offers to participants the perfect conditions for Enduro because of the natural location. The base camp for the entire competition will be located in Tineretului Swimming Pool from “Peste Vale” Entertainment Complex.

Starting in Piatra Neamt there are numerous touristic routes that can be made on a bicycle. One of these beautiful routes is the one that starts at Caprioara Bridge and continues near Tineretului Swimming pool from “Peste Vale” Entertainment Complex.
The asphalted road goes near the swimming pool and then continues to Batca Doamnei Hydroelectric from where you can admire the entire Bistrita valley, Ceahlau Mountain and Batca Domnei Hill.
From here the route continues until you’ll enter a dirt road that goes through Batca Doamnei village. The scenes are wonderful. Here …

This route starts at the church from Garcina commune, near Piatra Neamt and continues on the forestry road that crosses the village and the forest near the lake.
