Vanatori-Neamt Nature Park is located in the north east of Romania, on the east side of Stanisoara Mountains, in the north of Neamt County. The park stretches on more than one commune: Cracaoani, Agapia, Vanatori-Neamt, Targu Neamt town and Baltatesti and Oglinzi.

Between August 19 and 25, 2011 at Neamt Fortress from Targu Neamt will take place the first edition of the National Lute Festival, a project that wants to promote the lute, an instrument less popular in Romania. In Pangarati commune, on the left side of the creek with the same name there is a yew reservation of 1.5 hectares, one of the three of this kind from Romania. The reservation contains rare yew trees with ages over 80 years together with other trees like pine, spruce, juniper, beech and hornbeam.
