All those that love skiing and snowboarding are invited to come to Piatra Neamt. Winter has finally come and the cold weather creates perfect conditions on the ski slope from Cozla Mountain.
The ski slope from Cozla Hill is located in the north side of Piatra Neamt. The chair lift starts in Darmanesti neighborhood and the Telegondola at the train station from Piatra Neamt.
The prices are as follows:

At the end of 2013, the Museums Complex from Neamt County opened a new permanent exhibition at the Ethnography Museum from Piatra Neamt. The project to restore the museum was created to restore the entire Royal Court Area. The museum was part of this project because of the vast ethnographic collection.

On January 24 2014, Neamt County Council, “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center, the Military Garrison from Piatra Neamt and the Associations of “Reserve officers” and “The heroes cult” celebrated 155 years from the Union of the Romanian Regions. Culita Tarata, the president of Neamt County Council, together with Nicolae Manolescu, the president of the Union of the Writers from Romania, unveiled the bust of Mihai Eminescu, in Piatra Neamt, on January 14, 2014.
The statue is made of bronze by the sculptor Lucian Tudorache, at the initiative of the poet Adrian Alui Gheorghe and was placed in front of Neamt County Library. The expenses for the bust were supported by “Conta” Association from Piatra Neamt with the support of Neamt County Council, Piatra Neamt Town Hall and Rifil SA.
