Between November 28 and 30 2013 will take place in Piatra Neamt the XXIII edition of the International interpretation contest of music and choreography “Emanuel Elenescu”. The event is organized as a tribute to Romania’s National Day and is a contest with 6 sections where over 500 participants will perform from Bucharest, Chisinau, Vienna, Iasi, Botosani, Bacau, Vaslui, Suceava, Galati, Tg Mures, Odorheiu Secuiesc, Miercurea Ciuc, Oradea, Pitesti, Roman and Piatra Neamt. Between December 6 and 8 2013 will take place in Piatra Neamt the IV edition of the National Musical Festival for Children “Cantec de Stea”. The organizers of the event are Children Forever Association and “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center from Piatra Neamt. This festival is a special cultural event that unites both classical and traditional music performed by children with ages between 5 and 18.
The event is dedicated to winter holidays, Christmas and New Year’s Eve and will take place at Tineretului Theater.

Between October 31 2013 and January 10 2014 will take place an archive exhibition at the History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt. The organizers of this event are Neamt County Council, the Museums Complex from Neamt County and Neamt County Archive Service. During the exhibition you’ll see a series of documents: diplomas, maps, photos, letters and so on, documents that cover about 500 years of history from 1453 to 1954. The opening of the exhibition was presented by professor Nicolae Dumitrascu.
