Valuable collection of the Archiepiscopate of Roman and Bacau

The ruler Alexandru cel Bun supported the Orthodox Church to become a powerful institution and also created the Episcopate of Roman. He raised the church from Roman at the rank of Episcopate Cathedral. On September 13 2009 with the accord of the High Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church the Episcopate of Roman was raised at the rank of Archiepiscopate of Roman and Bacau.

The exhibition of the artist Gheorghe Cuciureanu at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt

Between September 22 and 30 2013 at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt can be visited a personal exhibition of the painter Gheorghe Cuciureanu. Born on April 19 1958 in Piatra Neamt, the artist followed the courses from “Ion Andreescu” Art Faculty from Cluj Napoca at Decorative Art section. After he finished his studies he was a drawing teacher at a school from Ramnicu Valcea. These days he teaches drawing at the art high school from Piatra Neamt.
His debut took place in 1975 with a personal exhibition containing 18 landscapes …
