Between September 22 and 30 2013 at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt can be visited a personal exhibition of the painter Gheorghe Cuciureanu. Born on April 19 1958 in Piatra Neamt, the artist followed the courses from “Ion Andreescu” Art Faculty from Cluj Napoca at Decorative Art section. After he finished his studies he was a drawing teacher at a school from Ramnicu Valcea. These days he teaches drawing at the art high school from Piatra Neamt.

Between September 20 and November 11 2013 will take place at the History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt the temporary exhibition “The Art of Restoration”. During this exhibition visitors have the chance of admiring over 40 pieces of ceramics brought back to life by restoration teams.
Through the tridimensional objects, images and texts the purpose of this event is to present to the public the complex process of restoring these objects to their original beauty. The objects are from Bodesti-Fumusica, Poduri-Dealul Ghindaru, Targu Ocna-Podei and Piatra Neamt – Darmanesti.

Between September 19 and October 31 2013 will take place at the Natural Science Museum from Piatra Neamt the “Live Reptiles” Exhibition. The opening of the exhibition was on Thursday, September 19. The exhibition contains over 75 reptile species from all over the world.
Among the reptiles in the exhibition are some of the most dangerous species in the world like taipan, black mamba, green mamba, African vipers, cobras, rattlesnakes, pythons, boas, anacondas, turtles, tarantulas, caiman, and several species of lizards, spiders and crocodiles.
