The Ski Slope Cozla – Piatra Neamt – Neamt County

The ski slope from the mountain Cozla is organized in the north part of the town Piatra Neamt. The snow is both natural and artificial and it lasts from December up until March. For the safety of those that want to go for a ride on this slope there were mounted nets supported by poles and protective railings on both sides of the slope. The Festival „Fuctele de padure” – first edition October 2008

The first edition of the Festival “Fructele de Padure” took place between 3 and 5 October 2008 at Piatra Neamt. The festival was organized by the Neamt County Council, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Neamt, ANTREC Neamt and the Forestry Department Neamt. The sponsors were SILVA FRUCT – natural juice, Poiana Negri and PLANTAVOREL Piatra Neamţ.

Vaduri Lake

Geographically speaking the lake Vaduri is located at an altitude of 350 m with Stanisoarei Mountains at north and Gosmanu Mountains at south. This is a lake that was created in 1966 to provide electrical energy and just like the lake Pangarati it is the property of S.C. Hidroelectrica S.A. from Piatra Neamt.
The lake is a protected area since 2004 when the lake Pangarati was also declared a protected area. The surface of the lake is about 119 ha. The nearby villages are Preluca, Pangaraciora and Vaduri. The surface of …

Pangarati Lake – Neamt County

Geographically speaking, the Pangarati Lake is located on the transversal sector from the Valley of the Bistrita River at an altitude of 370 m. As natural borders we see the Stanisoarei mountains to the north and the Gotmanu mountains to the south. The lake was formed in the the year 1964 on the river Bistrita and is the first dam-lake located up from the Dimitrie Leonida Hydro from Stejaru. The water from this lake comes from the lake Izvorul Muntelui and the river Bistrita.

Piatra Neamt – Neamt County

Location: the town Piatra Neamt is the administrative center for the Neamt County and it’s located on the valley of river Bistrita. The altitude is 310 m. The hills that surround the town are: Pietricica (590 m) to the south-east, Cozla (679 m) to the north, Cernegura (852 m) at south-west, Carloman (617 m) to north-west and Batca Doamnei (462 m) at south-west. Because of it’s architecture and its natural beauty the town Piatra Neamt is also called Perla Moldovei (The Precious Stone of Moldavia).

The Serbesti Rock – Neamt County

Location: The Serbesti Rock is located at approximately 17 km NE from the city Piatra Neamt, in the village Stefan cel Mare.
Short description
The Rock with a human shape from Serbesti – Neamt County is a natural geological reservation. It represents a point where it can be found traces of plants and jellyfish.
