Trails in Pangarati Forest Reserve

The most visited touristic attraction from Pangarati commune is Pangarati Monastery an important historic and religious place located on Bistrita Valley, near the road that goes from Piatra Neamt to Bicaz and near to the power plant Dimitrie Leonida. Valuable collection of the Archiepiscopate of Roman and Bacau

The ruler Alexandru cel Bun supported the Orthodox Church to become a powerful institution and also created the Episcopate of Roman. He raised the church from Roman at the rank of Episcopate Cathedral.
