Agheazmatar Building from Neamt Monastery

Agheazmatar represents the place where priests make Holy Water. This building is located at Neamt Monastery outside the walls, in front of the bell tower. It’s worth talking about this building because of the interesting architectural shape and impressive proportions. This building was created between 1836 and 1847 and it’s called Agheazmatar.

The Wood Church St Parascheva from Farcasa

The wooden church from Farcasa is considered to be one of the most “gifted” from the entire Neamt County and it differentiate itself from other churches through the wealth of its ornaments that are “talking” about the diversity of folk traditional creations from this area. “Inaltarea Sfintei Cruci” Hermitage or “Poiana lui Ioan”

You can reach “Inaltarea Sfintei Cruci” Hermitage (“Inaltarea Sfintei Cruci” can be translated as “The Rising of the Holy Cross”) by car or by foot. The hermitage is also known as “Poiana lui Ioan” Hermitage (“Poiana lui Ioan” can be translated as Ioan’s Plane) and it’s located at 26 km of Targu Neamt and 3 km from Sihastria Monastery which is also the religious administrator of this hermitage. Duras Waterfall from Negulesti village, Neamt County

In order to see Duras Waterfall from Negulesti village, Neamt County you’ll have to go by car from Piatra Neamt towards Bacau. In Roznov you’ll make a right towards Tazlau and after the first bridge another right to Piatra Soimului commune. This commune is formed by the following villages: Piatra Soimului, Negulesti, Luminis and Poieni and it’s located at the intersection between Tarcau Mountains and Cracau – Bistrita sub-Carpathian depression.

What to Visit in “Curtea Domneasca” Complex from Piatra Neamt

The architectural complex “Curtea Domneasca” from Piatra Neamt was built between 1468 and 1475 by ruler Stefan cel Mare. This was the administrative center of Neamt County. Shortly after, was also built the church of St Ioan Botezatorul and the Bell-tower (also known as The Tower of Stefan cel Mare).
