Between May 10 and 12 2013 took placed in Cluj Napoca the third edition of the Festival “The days of Romanian Village”. The event was organized by the Tourism Minister and the Association “The most beautiful villages in Romania” and the main purpose is to celebrate the traditional village.
Over the three days of the festival during which in the center of attention were elements of the traditional village from Romania took placed costume parades, folkloric shows, different workshops and presentations of traditional food products. Neamt County Council was an honorable …

Between May 11 and 13 2012 Neamt County was present at the Romanian Rural Tourism Fair from Piata Sfatului Plaza in Brasov. The event was held under the title of “The Day of the Romanian village” and was at its second edition.
At this event Neamt County Council participated with two stands that were placed in Piata Sfatului Plaza where the touristic product on Neamt County was presented. In Romania there are several important books on the matter of wood churches and most of these books are about Transilvania and Maramures regions. “Old wood churches from Neamt County” is a book that many expected it for this part of Romania. The two researchers that wrote the book speak about 29 churches built on a period of about three centuries. The oldest from the XVI century is the church from Valeni, Piatra Neamt and the church from Hartesti, Margineni that dates from 1683.

Sunday, May 26 2013 ended the Folkloric Art Festival “Lada cu zestre” with an award winning gala during which every artisan received a diploma for their participation. Also the artisan Cecilia Haisan received the “Neculai Popa” award for her religious icons pictures.
The official opening of the festival was Friday, May 24 2013 in “Curtea Domneasca” Plaza when the organizers thanked the participants from all over the country for being there. Saturday, May 25 2013, starting at 11:00 will take place during the Festival “Lada cu zestre” the Colloquy “The wood civilization”. The organizers of this event are Neamt County Council, Piatra Neamt Local Council and Town Hall, the Museums Complex from Neamt County and “Constantin Matasa” Cultural and Scientific Foundation.
