We invite you Sunday, April 10, 2011at the Equestrian Complex “Virgil Barbuceanu” from Piatra Neamt to witness the opening of the equestrian competition season in 2011 starting with 09:00. The event will consist in a demonstrative contest of jumping over obstacles with participants from different equestrian clubs in the country.
The participants come from counties like Suceava, Iasi, Bacau and Neamt. Among the special guests of the event will also be children from the school of Tescani commune, Bacau County and from the school of Stefan cel Mare commune, Neamt County.

Vanatori Natural Park from Neamt County is the place where you’ll also find “Dragos Voda” Bisons and Carpathian Fauna Reserve. The weather from the last days, together with the snow that fell and the low temperatures made possible the opening of the 2010 – 2011 Ski Season in Piatra Neamt. The ski slope from Cozla Hill in Piatra Neamt was reorganized and the artificial snow canons are placed along the slope since the beginning of this week. The protection systems from the base of the slope were also improved. The ski slope is now ready to receive all those that love winter sports.
