“Lada cu Zestre” Traditional Art Festival the IX edition

A new edition of “Lada cu Zestre” Traditional Art Festival will take place in Piatra Neamt, Tineretului Park between May 23 and 25 2014. The event is organized every year with the main purpose of keeping traditions alive.
This year there will be over 60 artisans invited to the festival from different ethnographic areas of Romania and from The Republic of Moldova. Among the objects that will be exposed we’ll see traditional fabrics, traditional shirts, sculpted wood objects, ceramics, masks that remind us of the winter holidays, leather objects, painted eggs …

“Lada cu zestre” Festival at the end of the VIII edition 2013

Sunday, May 26 2013 ended the Folkloric Art Festival “Lada cu zestre” with an award winning gala during which every artisan received a diploma for their participation. Also the artisan Cecilia Haisan received the “Neculai Popa” award for her religious icons pictures.
The official opening of the festival was Friday, May 24 2013 in “Curtea Domneasca” Plaza when the organizers thanked the participants from all over the country for being there. Neamt County Council handled excellence awards to the artisans Maria and Iulian Mihalachi from Baltatesti and Nicoleta and Laurentiu Pietraru …

“Lada cu zestre” Festival in Neamt County 2013 the VIII edition

Between May 24 and 26 in Curtea Domneasca Plaza from Piatra Neamt will take place the VIII edition of the Folkloric Art Festival “Lada cu zestre”. Through this festival we want to maintain alive the local traditions and the cultural heritage by stimulating the interest for traditions and customs in younger generations.

The Art Festival “Lada cu Zestre” 2012 Piatra Neamt – the VII edition

Between May 25 and 27 2012 will take place in Tineretului Park from Piatra Neamt the VII edition of the Art Festival “Lada cu Zestre”. “Lada cu Zestre” Festival: the program and participants

“Lada cu Zestre” Festival of folkloric art will take place in Tineretului Park from Piatra Neamt between May 27 and 29, 2011. This is the VI edition of the festival and the purpose of this event is to promote traditional arts and to encourage younger generations to carry on these traditions.

“Lada cu Zestre” Festival of Folkloric Art 2011

During May 27 – 29, 2011 in Tineretului Park from Piatra Neamt will take place the VI edition of “Lada cu Zestre” Festival of Folkloric Art. The festival is now a local tradition in Neamt County and the local authorities want to turn this into a touristic event and also use it as an opportunity to keep the old crafts alive and to encourage younger generations to keep these traditions go on.
