On August 5 2013 took place in Durau resort at the conference room from Bistrita Hotel the Conference “Ceahlau – nature, history and tourism”. The event took place during the Festival of Ceahlau Mountain (August 3 – 6 2013). The conference was divided in two parts: “Nature and Tourism” and “History, Mith and Tourism”. The event was moderated by Catalin Gavrilescu, director of Ceahlau Mountain Park. The folkloric art exhibition
Between August 3 and 6 2013 took place in Durau resort a folkloric art exhibition, located in front of Durau Monastery, where local artisans from Neamt County exhibited their works.
Among the artisans that participated at this event there are: Ciocarlan Vasile with a beautiful traditional masks collection, Ciocarlan Elena that creates traditional objects of wool, Vasile Neamtu with his wood handmade furniture pieces.

Sunday, May 26 2013 ended the Folkloric Art Festival “Lada cu zestre” with an award winning gala during which every artisan received a diploma for their participation. Also the artisan Cecilia Haisan received the “Neculai Popa” award for her religious icons pictures.
The official opening of the festival was Friday, May 24 2013 in “Curtea Domneasca” Plaza when the organizers thanked the participants from all over the country for being there. Saturday, May 25 2013, starting at 11:00 will take place during the Festival “Lada cu zestre” the Colloquy “The wood civilization”. The organizers of this event are Neamt County Council, Piatra Neamt Local Council and Town Hall, the Museums Complex from Neamt County and “Constantin Matasa” Cultural and Scientific Foundation.

Between May 24 and 26 in Curtea Domneasca Plaza from Piatra Neamt will take place the VIII edition of the Folkloric Art Festival “Lada cu zestre”.
